South Beach Wine and Food Festival 2010

The South Beach Wine and Food Festival in Miami Beach has started and will end Feb. 28th. This festival brings people from all the world for the best food and wine tasting they've ever seen. From amazing presentations, food seminars, tastings, and events this festival is amazing and definetly worth attending. Most events require separate tickets for each so find out what event you like most and purchase your tickets online. I promise this event is something you'll never forget.

Calle Ocho Festival Hitting Miami

A Latin Street Festival known as Calle Ocho in Miami starts tomorrow with a Carnival Miami 8K run. This festival goes all the way through to Mar. 14th where there is a huge block party with food, drinks, games, and concerts on the last day performers include: Trina, Black Dada, and Flo-Rida. On Mar. 10th, they will have the Baptist Health Domino Tournament where people compete for cash prizes. On Mar. 11th, they will have the Carnival Miami Golf Classic at International Links Miami. I went last year to the block party and it was hectic but it was a blast. I would recommend going for the experience and culture.

Performers Coming to South Florida

Recording artist Alicia Keys will be performing at the American Airlines Arena on Mar. 27th at 8 p.m. About 2 years ago I went to see Alicia Keys in concert and she was amazing what a talented women she is. Great performer and great concert. Tickets on sale now.

Recording Group Bon Jovi will be performing at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, FL at 7:30 p.m. Although, I haven't been to one of their concerts yet I find them to be amazing performers and artists. They would definetly put on a good show. Tickets are available.

Broadway Shows Coming to Miami

The Broadway Show Wicked is coming to the Ziff Opera Hous in Miami from Mar. 3rd to 21st. I saw this show about a year ago and it was amazing I even brought my fiancee with me and he loved it too. The performers are out of this world and the stage is outstanding I would recommend going to see it even if your a guy because the plot is not what you think. The show provides you with a completely different view of The Wizard of Oz where it shows you how it all began. I thought it was such a nice twist to the same old story always told. Tickets are on sale now for numerous days and times so get your tickets quick.

Another Broadway Show coming to the Ziff Opera House is Mamma Mia on Mar. 30th at 8 p.m. This show is one of my favorites I actually saw this one in New York and it was unabelieveable. The plot is familar to alot because they made a movie out of the show which was pretty good. The show is funny and romantic it has the all the elements to a great performance it was performed beautifully. You have to go see this one tickets are on sale and its only one showing so hurry to get them.

My Favorite Restaurants Near Home

I love going out to delicious restaurants and trying new things. I especially, love the ones that are near home which is Port Saint Lucie, FL. So here are a few of my favorite restaurants that I go to enjoy the amazing food and great atmosphere.

The first restaurant that I've been going to for years is Papa Louies. It's a mom and pop pizzaria that has the most amazing pizza and out of this world chicken parmigiana. The portions are huge and the prices are extremely reasonable.

Second, we have a restaurant which is another Italian style place is called Panariello's Pizza and Pastry. The pizza is amazing but the garlic knots are just unbelievably good that you can't stop eating them. The eggplant parmigiana is delicious with the portion feeding two people. They have an extensive homemade pastries menu that is to die for the eclairs are amazing. The prices are alittle higher than usual but the food is worth it.

Third, we have a more casual and relaxing place called
BoneFish Mac's Sport's Grille this place is one of my favorites because the atmosphere is so pleasant, the food is always delicious, and they always have some great drink specials. This place is the most reasonable in price and they have a wide variety of menu choices with the portions being huge. I always get the chicken strips meal and they are so crispy and delicious with unbelievable fries.

Fourth, we have a more semi-formal restaurant called Palm City Grill. The prices are alittle higher because they have more of a mature and delicable choices than the others. The food is amazing here I usually get the baby back ribs which are so good. The portions are a good size not too much but not too little.

Last but not least, we have another semi-formal place that is alittle on the more pricer side called Sam Snead's Tavern. This place is acutally my favorite place to go because I love the atmosphere which is a more sheek and classy place with an amazing bar. The food is just out of this world I get the baby back ribs and they just fall off the bone it's delicious.

Those are my top five restaurants in Port Saint Lucie that I love to go enjoy the amazing food, drinks, and setting. Talk to you later.

The Improv Comedy Club in Fort Lauderdale

Lee has performed on "Late Friday", "Premium Blend", and "The Tonight Show." He also a regular on MadTv and appeared on the films "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle" and "Kickin it Old Skool."

Hottest New Club in Port Saint Lucie

Port Saint Lucie might be boring but on Thursday nights Element Martini Bar takes care of that. This newly renovated club/bar has all the amenties you want a lounge area, pool tables, huge projections, huge dance floor, and one of the best DJ's this town has ever seen DJ Jay Dee. Recently, changing to a non smoking club the atmosphere is exactly where you want to spend your time. It has a nice variety of age groups with enough women and men to enjoy yourself. DJ Jay Dee plays the Top Dance, Hip Hop, and Reggae music making you never sit down. The drinks are far from stingy on the alcohol which I prefer vodka and cranberry. Ladies Thursday Nights are awesome with the no cover for ladies all night and an open bar from 9 to 11 p.m. you can't bet it. They just added ladies with a party of five or more get a free bottle of champagne and VIP access. This place is amazing come check it out for yourself!

Unnoticed Places to Visit in Florida

Here are some great places that some people wouldn't think of visiting but they are amazing to the numerous activites, nearby restaurants, hotels, and a relaxing time.


First we have Canaveral National Seashore which is near New Smyrna Beach and Cape Canaveral. They have many activites from boating, hiking, fishing, beaches, and horseback riding. It really is a great place to spend the day.






Next, we have Everglades National Park in South Florida. You can go fishing and boating which is absoultely insane but something I will always remember. You have to try it.

Last but definetly not least, we have Biscayne National Park in South Florida. This one my favorite because I love to snorkel and it's amazing here. There is so much to do: you can spend a whole day and not be bored once. From the indoor and outside activities it's a great place to go. They have the Glass Bottom Boat Ride it was amazing I recommend it and the snorkeling and scuba diving is outstanding.

Ways to Please Your Valentine

The Biggest tip to keep in mind about Valentine's Day is to be creative when your making plans so take your time thinking hard and good so that it shows on that special day.

Here are some ideas to get you started:

You can go the simplictic way and prepare a romantic picnic with wine and strawberries take her to a local beach or park to lay a sheet out so you can enjoy eachother with the wind blowing in your hair.

You can also go a more unique way and take her to a museum and then out to dinner. You can do the Vizcaya Museum or Tropical Garden in Miami, FL which is amazing or you can do the Henry Morrison Flager Museum to show a more intellectual side.

You can also be very spontaneous and bring her the Florida Keys for the weekend and stay at romantic hotel just the two of you. Possibly, the Little Palm Island Hotel which is on a private island with colonial style suites with a perfect setting to enjoy.

You can show her your extravigant side by chartering a yacht to take for the night wherever you want and arrange an intimate dinner on board. That one would really show her.

I know it's not easy to plan a perfect day for your loved one but it will come to you which way you want to go to please her but just think your in love and that was the hard part.

This Valentine's Day we're going the simplictic way and taking a walk on the beach with a quiet dinner just the two of us. It's amazing to be in love and that day just makes you feel it even more.

Sharing My Favorite Restaurants for Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is coming

It's that time of year again for the love to be in the air.......Valentine's Day! This day above all is an opportunity to show how much you love someone and how very special they are to you. For men, this is the time of year you probably dread with all the sentimental emotions being thrown at you but it's what you make out of it. If your clever and find the simplest ways to show your girl that you love them then it all works out. Women love this time of year because we are finally the highlight of a day! But for other men and maybe even some women that struggle this time of year I'm going to try to help give you some tips but first by giving you some great romantic restaurant selection to take your loved one so they won't be disappointed this time of year.

First we have Leila Restaurant in West Palm Beach, FL. From the Middle Eastern inspired menu to the contemporary setting with vibrate and soft accents providing sitting inside and out. Menu is delectable with many food selections. Also provide live entertainment with belly dancers. Reasonable in price.

Next we have Serenity Garden in West Palm Beach, FL it's a unique and intimate setting with fabulous menu choices and delicious tea.

East Room at The Forge in Miami is THE place to bring your honey!!!!! This is romance at it's best mixed with some sheek. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is just out of this world. Plus many celebrities have been sited here!! The food isn't cheap but it's well worth the money.

Free concert at the Meyer Amphitheatre with Starfish a rock band from the 70's and 80's performing. Anticipating 25,000 people to come and enjoy all the fun.
